Destinie Wood is a licensed clinical social worker and qualified supervisor with nearly ten years of experience. She specializes in anxiety, depression, family relationships, perinatal mental health and military-specific challenges. She holds post-graduate certification in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and has specialty training in trauma-informed care, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, infant mental health, sex therapy, and couples counseling.
Destinie has worked with individuals, couples, and families across the lifespan—from early childhood through late adulthood. She prioritizes a person-centered approach, believing that you are the expert of your own life and should remain empowered and in control throughout therapy.
Outside of her work, Destinie enjoys journaling, weightlifting, cooking, frequenting the beach, and traveling to mountainous hiking destinations. She lives in Florida with her partner, their two daughters, and their Australian shepherd, Skye.
